The sky is the limit when it comes to the growth Cox Roofing has experienced through the years and continues to see. The family-owned business that launched in 2013 has two offices in Indiana, one in Kentucky, one in Colorado, and a satellite office in Florida, with plans to expand to Alabama and Tennessee.

“The business is growing,” says owner Mishell Cox, who began running the operation when her husband, Justin, was busy working as a full-time firefighter. She also manages their other “sky is the limit” business.

“We have a hot air balloon company where we own and sell hot air balloons overseas,” Cox says.

Cox Roofing is an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred contractor with 40-plus years of experience and an A+ BBB rating. While 70 to 80% of their work is residential, they also do commercial and multifamily roofing as well as exterior services, which include siding, gutters, and gutter guards.

What sets Cox Roofing apart from other businesses is the way they treat and communicate with their clients. Cox knows that nothing is more frustrating than calling a business and never getting a response back, or having a person scheduled to come on a certain day and then not showing up.

“I think often these things happen when an owner is trying to wear a lot of hats and can’t juggle all the work,” says Cox, who notes that they are fully staffed with 50 employees. “When you call the office, somebody can give you answers.”

Their professionals are HAAG-certified, providing top-notch roofing solutions with a commitment to exceptional service and community growth. Each year they sponsor teams for the Carmel Dads’ Club, an organization designed to foster the development of youth in sports-related programs to build self-esteem, physical fitness, respect and achievement. In addition, they offer support to the Hoosier Burn Camp to help burn survivors build self-esteem. The company also regularly sends money to a nonprofit in Africa that cares for children who have been abandoned by their parents.

“We help cover the kids’ Christmas gifts, uniforms and school supplies for the entire year,” says Cox, who contributes items for Carmel’s Fourth of July parade.

Plus, Cox Roofing donates roofing materials and labor to build two houses each year for Habitat for Humanity.

“We care a great deal about the community,” Cox says. “And we take pride in creating a warm, family-like experience while delivering quality roofing work.”

Cox Roofing is located at 10837 Andrade Dr., Zionsville, IN. For more information, call 317-600-8838 or visit coxroofingsystems.com.
