How Teamwork in Sports Mirrors the Collective Strength of BBB® Accredited Businesses

Indiana fans know momentum when they see it — and this year, our sports teams showed how powerful a shared set of values can be. Across leagues and levels, they demonstrated the same principles that fuel any high-performing organization: trust in one another, commitment to excellence and the discipline to keep improving together.

The 2024–25 Indiana Pacers embodied that mindset, advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals with a style of play defined by cohesion and belief in the system. The 2025 Indiana Fever strengthened their visibility and connection to the community by leaning into teamwork and consistent growth. The Indianapolis Colts opened their 2025–26 season with a winning record and a roster committed to building something stronger week after week. And at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway — celebrating 65 years as a BBB Accredited Business — another iconic Month of May showcased what preparation, precision and legacy look like when an entire community is united around excellence.

These teams — all BBB Accredited Businesses — illustrate a core truth: meaningful wins are built when talented organizations unite around shared values.

For BBB Central Indiana (BBB), that same team-driven commitment to collective strength shaped two of its biggest wins for 2025.

First, BBB began working alongside a group of organizations — in alphabetical order: REACH and ValPak, ST Digital Solutions, Towne Post Network and WRTV — to help BBB Accredited Businesses strengthen their brand presence through cost-effective and impactful marketing solutions. These collaborations reflect the same dynamic seen in sports: when each contributor plays to their strengths, the entire team becomes stronger. Many businesses are focused on running day-to-day operations, and these relationships help fill gaps in strategy, outreach and digital reach.

Second, BBB expanded its sponsorship opportunities with the Social Proof Ad campaign — a new visibility initiative created to unite a group of BBB Accredited Businesses to collectively represent the BBB Seal. The creative foundation and strategy are already in place; the next step is assembling the businesses who will bring this campaign to life in 2026 and demonstrate trust in action.

In sports, associations and the workplace alike, momentum is rarely created alone. When organizations move together, everyone moves forward.
