Lawrence Township Schools to Conduct Testing for High Ability Program

All MSD of Lawrence Township Kindergarten students will be give a non-verbal ability assessment as part of the initial step in the identification process for the grade one High Ability Program.  This program, called the STRETCH Program in Lawrence Township, is housed at Brook Park, Skiles Test, and Mary Castle Elementary Schools.  Students are selected based on their aptitude and potential giftedness for this program.  For students that are currently enrolled in the MSD of Lawrence Township kindergarten class, the assessment will be given during the kindergarten day.  Parents of Lawrence Township students currently enrolled in a private kindergarten program should contact the Office of Special Programs at 423-8330 by January 22 to schedule an appointment.
