Do you have plans for the second weekend in July? If not, grab your girlfriends, your favorite book bag and plan to linger longer in downtown Lebanon for a full weekend of literary fun, local shopping, creative experiences and unforgettable memories.

From July 11–13, Heart of Lebanon is hosting a Ladies Love Lebanon Weekend, presented by fluor.com, a themed celebration where books meet boutique charm. Whether you’re looking to relax with a mimosa in a Secret Garden setting, test your trivia knowledge, shop special deals or dive into one-of-a-kind interactive experiences, this weekend has something for every kind of leading lady.

This brand-new event celebrates all things literary and local, with a weekend full of interactive experiences, themed classes, music, games and opportunities to shop, dine and explore. Organizers have worked closely with local businesses, the library and creatives to make it a truly immersive and memorable experience for attendees of all ages.

“Lebanon is such a great community — we’re known as the ‘friendly city,’ and we really are friendly,” said Heart of Lebanon Event Coordinator Sarah Howell. “We’re so excited to get more people downtown and into businesses and are so appreciative of the businesses in our community and their support.”

Weekend Highlights:

Literary-themed fun: From Literary Trivia on Friday night to “A Novel Evening” on Saturday (geared toward mature audiences), the weekend brings bookish charm to life.

Book swap: Bring up to three books to swap. Drop them off Friday when you check in for the event and trade your tickets for “new” books during Saturday night’s event or Sunday breakfast.

Music on the Plaza: Enjoy live music from Hi-Dive, an all-female band, with access to a guest area for select ticket holders.

Audiobook walk: Kick off Saturday at 9 a.m. with a relaxing, self-paced audiobook walk through downtown and Memorial Park (weather permitting).

Choose your own adventure: On Saturday, explore downtown with interactive experiences hosted by local businesses.

Relax & Read: Pop-up reading spots will appear on the courthouse lawn. Sign up with the Silent Book Club of Boone County for free on their Eventbrite page: sbcBCJuly12.eventbrite.com

Sunday Secret Garden Brunch: Wrap up the weekend with a beautiful catered breakfast in a whimsical setting.

Whether you’re coming to unwind with a good book, treat yourself to something new or explore creative experiences downtown, Ladies Love Lebanon Weekend is the perfect excuse to grab your friends and make a whole weekend of it.

“Lebanon is a city of connection, and I hope women come away from the weekend with new friendships as they connect over their love for books and the community in general,” Howell said.

This unforgettable weekend wouldn’t be possible without the presenting sponsor, Fluor, and the support of local community partners like the Lebanon Public Library and the Silent Book Club Boone County, who helped bring the literary magic to life.

Organizers are also grateful to the amazing businesses leading the interactive classes for the weekend: Fire + Fern Apothecary, Quilts Plus, Four Finger Distillery and Paintings by Anita — along with romance author Courtney Corlew, who is hosting the Beads & Brew bracelet-making station and joining in with a Q&A session on Saturday, July 12.

Ticket Options:

VIP Weekend Pass: $65

Special Guest Ticket: $40

Shopper’s Pass: $15

She is wearing a black blazer over a light blue blouse, a small sparkling tiara, and a white sash that reads "500 FESTIVAL PRINCESS 2026." She stands in front of a sleek, modern display case illuminated with blue neon lights. Directly behind her is the iconic, towering silver Borg-Warner Trophy, and in the background, several historic Indy 500 race cars, including a blue and yellow #66 Sunoco car, are on display in glass-fronted cases.
