Are you ready for St. Patrick’s Day? Plenty of Geist and Fishers area restaurants and bars have a flurry of St. Patty’s Day activities planned for your enjoyment. Here are a few to visit this year.
1. Ale Emporium Fishers

Tony Kwiatkowski, co-owner of Ale Emporium, Fishers, says he plans to have a combined St. Patrick’s Day & Big 10 Championship weekend.
“With all of the big games going on, we will have basketball on all of our televisions all day, each day of the St. Patty’s Day weekend,” Kwiatkowski says. “We really like that St. Patrick’s Day is on a Sunday. We will also have live music from 10 p.m. -1 p.m, on Friday, March 15, and enjoy Big 10 Basketball all day on Saturday and Sunday. For drinks, we will have our house beer for $3 a pint. We will also have our Geist Golden Lager pints and Miller Lite pints for $3.50, Captain Morgan for $4.50. We also have Absolut Vodka & Flavors for $4.25.”

General Manager John Peters says corn beef and cabbage will definitely be on the menu.
“We will also have Reuben sandwiches, Guinness beer specials, and other delicious drink specials,” Peters says. “It will be a great time. We want everybody to come on in.”

Alec Wolf, area director for Wolfie’s, says a lot of planning is going into their St. Patrick’s Day weekend activities.
“We hope to be the best spot for all of the weekend fun,” Wolf says. “Guests like being in a large space surrounded by other people. We plan to have a lot of drink specials, with Guinness, Jameson Irish Whiskey and Irish Car Bombs. We have special St. Patrick’s Day plastic cups that turn green, and we plan to have Reuben sandwiches, fish and chips and live music.”
4. Four Day Ray Brewing

Brian Graham, president and owner of Four Day Ray, says Four Day Ray will have a St. Patrick’s Day Tent for the weekend. On Saturday March 16, Midwest Originals Band will perform. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with a $5 cover.
On Sunday, March 17, the tent opens at noon, with live music. My Yellow Rickshaw is headlining and they will start at 7p.m., with a $10 cover. Irish Lager, Irish Dry Stout and glitter beer will be available again this year. Food trucks will be on hand as well.
“We will also have family activities,” Graham says. “On Sunday, March 17, at 9:30 a.m., we will have Kegs & Eggs, an Irish Breakfast buffet, with activities for the kids and a visit from a real Leprechaun. There will also be a 5k run and walk for the family at 8 a.m.”
5. MashCraft Fishers

MashCraft Fishers will be tapping a special Irish dry stout beer on Nitro. They will also have three food specials — Drunken Chicken and Waffles, Beer Cheese Biscuits and Gravy, and Beer Butter & Cider Jelly Monte Cristo sandwich.”

You could always celebrate St Patrick’s Day with a group of friends at Topgolf. Reservations can be made online up to seven days in advance, and at least an hour prior to arrival. Walk-in guests are also welcome. Groups up to six players are welcome. Each reservation is good for one bay, and can accommodate eight guests, with six people playing at one time.

Always a local favorite in Fishers. Sahm’s will feature corn beef and cabbage prominently on St. Patrick’s Day as well as their signature green beer.

On Friday, March 15, Irish food specials and Green beer will be available as well as a band and a DJ afterward.
Saturday will include a party night with a bus, Irish’s food specials and Green beer. Mike Barthal & The Leprechaun’s Band in the evening. A shuttle bus from Murphy’s PubHouse to Murphy’s Craft House will also be available.
On St. Patrick’s Day itself, Murphy’s PubHouse will have an Irish food menu all day. With live music throughout the day.
9. Murphy’s Craft House

On Friday March 15 there will be Irish’s food specials and Green beer. There will also be live music and a DJ later that night.
On Saturday, Irish’s food specials and Green beer will continue with a band that evening. A shuttle bus from Murphy’s PubHouse to Murphy’s Craft House will also be available.
St. Patrick’s Day will kick off with a kegs and eggs brunch at 10 a.m. and an all-Irish menu in the a.m. and p.m. hours. Live music will be played throughout the day. Both Murphy’s restaurants will have plenty of fun giveaways and special activities as well.
