What is Smoke on the Square? Smoke on the Square is a 2 day barbeque competition held by Discover Downtown Franklin in conjunction with the Kansas City Barbeque Society. Professionals from all across the U.S. compete to win cash prizes.
Categories include chicken, brisket, pork, and ribs. At this time, we currently have 30 teams entered in the competition. Admission to the event is FREE to the public. There will be ongoing entertainment all day, kids activities, and of course FOOD!
