Regardless of the size of your business, you need a website. However, what should it contain, and what should it look like are questions that many business owners do not have a firm handle on. Business owners and non-profit organizations can join in a discussion of website content at a workshop entitled “Stop Putting Lipstick on Your Website Pig.” Jeff Owen, of J Owen Media LLC, will facilitate a discussion.
Participants also are encouraged to provide a link to their organization’s website. Some participants sites will be “held up to a giant mirror and discuss how to draw more interest to them,” Owen said.
The workshop, set for 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 25 at the Tilson Conference Center, 1530 American Way, Greenwood, IN is part of the Learn 2 Lead business series sponsored by Duke Energy, the Johnson County Community Foundation, Leadership Johnson County and the Franklin Chamber of Commerce.
Cost for the workshop is $35 for Foundation donors, Chamber members and LJC alumni, and $50 for the public. Click here to register online. For more information, contact Gail Richards, Johnson County Community Foundation, 738-2213.
