MVP Baseball & Softball Academy, the Southside’s newest indoor baseball & softball training facility, will open its doors this Saturday, June 16 at 2993 South Grove Boulevard. The company will have a public grand opening celebration from Noon to 6:00 p.m. at its home in the South Grove Shoppes at the corner of State Road 135 & Whiteland Road in Bargersville.
The community can tour the facility, meet the owners, and get information on the services offered. Training experts and coaches will be on-hand to discuss instruction strategies. Guests will also be able to view their hitting technique with motion analysis equipment.
The state-of-the-art sports venue offers:
- Private lessons
- Group lessons
- Tunnel rental
- Camps
- Clinics
Players of all skill levels and all age groups will train at the facility.
MVP Baseball & Softball Academy is owned by Ryan Richardson. Richardson is a former player at Center Grove High School and the University of Indianapolis. The 29-year-old and his wife live in Bargersville.

Do you offer any catching lessons for girls? I have a 12U catcher and would like some lessons for her. Also am interested in conditioning and strength training.
