Center Grove Lassie League (CGLL) has opened registration for this season. Teams are forming this week and you can expect coach contact after 3/16/2013. Practice will begin the week of March 18th and the last games will be the week on June 17th. Practices and games will be Monday’s through Thursday’s.
Center Grove Lassie League (CGLL) is a nonprofit, volunteer managed, girl’s softball facility and organization created in 1974. The league was established to give girls in our community the opportunity to learn the sport, enjoy team activities, build friendships and develop confidence. Today the league continues to offer a top notch recreational league focused on learning the fundamentals of softball and having fun while competing.
CGLL is home to 10 lighted and fully fenced softball fields. Each field boasts a top notch soil master surface and spacious covered dugouts. Our facility has a batting cage, three shelters, two restroom facilities, and a full service concession stand.
To meet the operational expenses of the facility, the league hosts tournaments throughout the season. CGLL is the home field for travel/all-star teams developed out of the recreational program. Girls who wish to pursue a higher level of competition become the ambassadors of our park as they represent CGLL at home and in state and national competitions.
Center Grove Lassie League is located on Morgantown Road between Smith Valley and Fairview Road. The facility consists of 10 Lighted diamonds, all designed specifically for girls softball. Focus on the girls is the first priority. The program consists of girls age 4-18 in the Recreational, All-Star and Travel programs. It’s important to know CGLL is a Non-Profit facility ran by volunteers to keep up the quality of our facility. They need the community of families to support the facility and volunteer to remain a successful, safe park for the girls to play.
