New Auto Detail Shop Opens in Greenwood

Car people are a different breed. We all know the type – your neighbor who only takes his Corvette out under perfect weather conditions, or your dad, whose 1960s Ford Mustang is not only pristine on the inside, but also under the hood. Enter My Baby Detailing.
In March, the new premium automotive detailing shop, just like detailing boise idaho, opened in Greenwood. Owner Dave Barnett owns nearby Christian Brothers Automotive. He opened My Baby Detailing to complement his auto repair business.
Greenwood is a real car town and there are a lot of automotive enthusiasts, he says. In this town, every Saturday night everybody gathers downtown at The Suds. Next door at Christian Brothers we get a lot of old, classic, cool cars. We noticed there are many people who are really about keeping their vehicles in top condition. When the property right next door to our shop became available, I thought it would be the perfect place and time to open a detailing shop.
Barnett is a car guy himself, so he knows what owners want and need when taking care of their baby. He offers service inside, outside and even under the hood to keep cars, trucks and motorcycles in top condition.
Services include hand wash, wax, exterior detail, interior clean, deodorization, interior detail, headlight restoration, engine clean and detail, paint correction, ceramic coating, glass treatment, scuff removal, paintless dent removal and window tinting. We take great care of those needing to suck up the french fries that kids dropped in the back seat, just as we do for someone with a collector car, Barnett says. We offer basic services for those that need it, and then some higher-end services like ceramic coatings for those who take their cars to car shows.
Barnett says their $49 hand-wash car service sets them apart from other car washes, and hand washing is a very gentle process. He says the vehicle is thoroughly dried and clients wont leave with water running off their windows and mirrors.
My Baby Detailing provides a courtesy shuttle to take customers to their home or office while their car is serviced. The lobby has free Wi-Fi, snacks and car magazines to help pass the time if clients choose to wait. As a Greenwood resident, Barnett knows customer service is critical.

So far the community response has been great, he says. A local Center Grove resident was driving by recently and saw the sign. He said he loves to support local businesses, so he entrusted the care of his beautiful 1955 Chevrolet to us. Im not sure if a lot of people know were here yet because we are so new, but those who have found us have been so supportive, so that is encouraging.
Barnett says his staff is all car people. He knows owners can be extreme about their automobiles, and says if you have ever called your vehicle My Baby, then welcome to the family.
