The Milk Bank (TMB) is a non-profit organization that promotes community health by expanding the safe use of human milk for all babies, especially premature and ill infants. Our vision is that every child has access to safe human milk. Our core programs include screening, collecting, pasteurizing, and distributing donor human milk to premature infants and others.
In the past fifteen years, The Milk Bank has provided over two million ounces of pasteurized donor human milk to hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs) and outpatients to give the smallest and sickest babies the best start toward a healthy life. As a nonprofit human milk bank, it is our goal to ensure that the life-saving properties of human milk are available to babies and families in need.
