Business Spotlight: The Libunao Agency

Insurance is more than just protecting tangible possessions. Its also about providing a sense of security and peace for families and neighbors. Brandon Libunao and his team, The Libunao Agency of State Farm, celebrate their first anniversary of moving to Fishers in April.
Ive lived in Fishers since 2014, Libunao says. My kids go to school here. I knew Fishers was where we needed to be.
The timing couldnt have been worse for the move. The COVID-19 pandemic shuttered businesses and cities in April of 2020.
We had the space renovated, and then everything shut down, Libunao says. Were an essential business, so I ended up having my whole team working from my home along with all their kids in my basement. Many of their day cares were closed. It was a crazy time, but we made it work.
The Libunao team offers all the typical insurance products along with financial services.
We are a full service agency so we offer auto, home, life and health insurance products as well as financial services, Libunao says. My agency is set up a little bit differently. My job is to meet with customers every day, understand their current needs and future needs, and then build a plan around that, whether its insurance or financial services.
Libunaos team focuses on a variety of areas to serve clients.
I have account managers who are available to review policies and get clients started, Libunao says. We also have an entire customer service team leading our retention efforts. Then we also have an outreach team. They focus on being involved in our community.
Building a lasting relationship with Hamilton County residents is one of the teams biggest goals.
We offer insurance and thats how we pay the bills, but how we approach it is a little different, Libunao says. We try to approach it by grassroots involvement. We eat where you eat. We shop where you shop. Were donating where youre donating. The more you get to know us and have that relationship, the more likely youll be to use us in the future.
Libunao wants to make sure his team is the focus, rather than himself.
This is our one-year anniversary, and I want people to know my team and what they have to offer the residents of Fishers and Hamilton County, he says. Theyre the ones who should be highlighted.
