Many large banking institutions have been closing branches and moving away from in-person banking services. The opposite is true for Community First Bank of Indiana (CFB). It recently opened a banking center location at 9333 North Meridian Street, Suite 125. This new site enables the northside community to enjoy the outstanding customer service, local decision making, and relationship building at the core of CFB.

Community First BankA grand-opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on May 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Held in partnership with the Indy Chamber and OneZone Chamber, which serves businesses in Carmel and Fishers, the event offers a free lunch and free coffee drinks from the local favorite, Java House. In addition, a professional photographer will be on hand to take free Professional Headshots for all in attendance.

Romhaad Davis will serve the location as the Business Banking Center Manager. With more than 12 years of experience in the financial industry, including six years in banking, his goal is to help his clients succeed by offering flexibility and guidance that larger institutions often cannot. CFB bankers are known for being invested in the community and giving back. Davis follows suit by volunteering in youth sports, mentoring for the Youth Mentoring Initiative in Hamilton County, and bringing communities together with group fitness workout classes.

Davis and the entire commercial lending team of Scott Hammersley, Bonnie Riley, Gavin Fisher, Pete Needler, Greg Gordon, Michael McCulloch, Duane Kamminga and Zack Gabriel, as well as Adrienne Riddle, who focuses on treasury management, look forward to serving customers in the area. In addition to personal banking and lending, CFB offers a full range of business checking and savings accounts, commercial loans, SBA-guaranteed loan solutions, and treasury management services. The location has both lobby and drive-through banking, as well as 24/7 ATM access.

“While we have great technology, we still believe relationships are built face to face,” says President and CEO Robb Blume. “We are tremendously excited to open our first full-service banking facility in Indianapolis and our fourth new office in the surrounding area since 2019. We look forward to serving the citizens of Marion County and Hamilton County, as an independent community bank, for many years to come.”

Join the grand-opening celebration on May 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
