Phase 1 of the 70-acre Geist Waterfront Park is now underway scheduled for completion in 2022. The $15 million project features a public beach, fishing pier, non-motorized watercraft launch, play space, trails and boardwalks that lead to observation points overlooking Geist Reservoir.

Please put a boat ramp in or a boat launch for motorized boats having to pay 30 and $40 2 Launch boat out there is ridiculous if you own the land under the water you should be able to put your own launch for motorized boats in
No disc golf?
Will there be vehicle access to the kayak/canoe launch? As Fishers residents who own kayaks, we need a drop off we can drive to. We live less than 2 miles from the Geist Waterfront Park site and have looked forward to having a kayak launch there. The park should serve nearby residents as well as people who drive from everywhere, our taxes are funding its development.
There is a great kayak/canoe launch area at Geist Park, which is a couple of miles away and is open to the public. The launch is accessible from the parking lot.
