Women from across the state will grace the stage at Noblesville High School on April 5 to vie for the MISS INDIANA USA title. Affiliated with the Miss Universe Organization, the MISS INDIANA USA Pageant exudes sophistication and prestige. From dazzling evening gowns to poised interviews and spirited activewear segments, contestants showcase not only their physical beauty but also their intellect, charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talents.
Among those competing for the title is Lena Pringle. A captivating content creator, Pringle’s journey to this prestigious event is more than a quest for a crown – it’s a testament to resilience, empowerment, and her unwavering determination.
Pringle was most recently crowned Miss Circle City USA, which helped pave the way toward deciding to pursue MISS INDIANA USA. Her decision to enter comes amidst personal challenges – career shifts, financial setbacks, and a family health crisis. Despite these hurdles, Lena’s spirit remains unbroken as she embraces this opportunity to amplify her voice and advocate for causes close to her heart.
Step Into the Spotlight
Pringle is no stranger to the spotlight. Born in South Carolina, she has called Indianapolis home for several years, working as an anchor on WISH-TV’s Daybreak.
Pringle began her career in Columbia, South Carolina, before moving to Jacksonville, Florida, where she was an anchor, traffic anchor, and reporter for WJXT’s The Morning Show. Pringle also spent time as a sports and political reporter in Washington, D.C.
These days, Pringle is focused on entrepreneurship and the arts. After leaving her journalism career, she leveraged her passion for fashion into a professional career on catwalks across the globe as a runway model. Pringle walked in Paris Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week, Midwest Fashion Week, and four other prestigious runway shows.
A graduate of Furman University, Pringle also holds a Master of Science in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University. Pringle is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and is passionate about fashion, fitness, travel, animals, community, Black joy, and equitable healthcare.
