Fall Creek Gallery is a studio and gallery currently specializing in selling one-of-a-kind old world Indian cigar store statues. These handmade wooden statues were used as advertisement signposts for retail and tobacco shops in early America. The Fall Creek Gallery artists, Chie Kramer and Julie Hollis, specialize in recreating these authentic statues along with creating a variety of other sculptures and artworks.

“Our goals for the event are to introduce our gallery into the Indianapolis community as a place where you can peek into the lives of a living artist studio,” said artist Julie Hollis. “Living as a crazy fun husband and wife artist team is both exciting and challenging at times. Living each day pursuing our passions and creating beautiful art is a dream very few get to realize. I’m most excited to invite everyone to our gallery and to meet in person many of our followers. I’m excited for people to experience our art firsthand. The more modern the world becomes, the more precious the uniqueness of both art and craftsmanship becomes.”

Their grand opening and First Friday event is the first of its kind for Lawrence, so make sure not to miss it. But if you can’t make it, don’t worry – the gallery will be hosting an open house the first Friday of every month. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at fallcreekgallery.yapsody.com.
