Center Grove Show Choirs Named Grand Champions

Center Grove show choirs swept the awards at the Shelbyville Singing Sensational at Shelbyville High School on Saturday, March 11, with Sound System, The Debtones, and Surround Sound named Grand Champions.

In the Large Mixed Division, Sound System was awarded Grand Champion, Best Vocals, Best Choreography, with Outstanding Performer, senior, Alex Milligan, and Best Male Soloist, junior, Wilson Smith. In the Unisex Division, The Debtones were awarded Grand Champion and Best Choreography, with Outstanding Performer, sophomore Rachel Taylor. Also in the Unisex Division, Accents earned second runner up, with freshman, Lauren Cooley, named Outstanding Performer. In the Festival Division, Surround Sound was awarded Grand Champion, Best Tech Crew, Best Choreography, Best Vocals, with Outstanding Performer, senior, Gracie Vance, and Best Male Soloist, sophomore, Subi Pandit.

Center Grove choirs are directed by Jennifer Dice, Jared Norman, and Greg Sanders, and choreographed by Andy Haines. Center Grove Varsity Show Choirs will compete at Show Choir Nationals at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, TN March 23–25.
