As we look toward 2026, I’m pleased to highlight the many bright and exciting progress coming to our community.
Over the past year, Whitestown has continued to strengthen its reputation as one of Indiana’s fastest-growing and most forward-thinking towns. Our investments in public safety, infrastructure, parks, trails, and quality-of-life amenities reflect our unwavering commitment to building a community where families, businesses, and visitors feel welcomed and supported.
We are focusing on strategic growth that respects our community’s character while preparing us for the future. From roadway improvements that increase safety and mobility, to expanded recreational amenities, to responsible economic development that brings jobs and opportunity, Whitestown is working every day to enhance the lives of our residents.
In 2026, we are excited to share a new park along Indianapolis Road that is scheduled to soon break ground. Also, Phase 2 of Gateway Park will introduce Whitestown’s first public dog park and have a shelter featuring restrooms and picnic tables.
Residents and visitors can also enjoy the outdoors by renting a bike along the Big 4 Trail through our Bikeshare Program, or by letting the kids cool off at the Main Street Park splash pad during the warmer months. We invite everyone to explore our parks, attend our events, and enjoy all the fun Whitestown has to offer!
We are especially happy to welcome you to Whitestown—whether you are new to the community, exploring Boone County, or simply getting to know us better. Our town prides itself on being open, friendly, and full of opportunity, and we hope you feel that from the moment you arrive.

Their engagement and passion drive the progress we make and ensure that Whitestown remains a place we are all proud to represent within Boone County.
