For more than 25 years, Dr. Chuck Sadler and his staff have been Changing Lives One Smile at a Time. His faith and small-town philosophy are at the root of this High Tech yet High Touch Orthodontic practice in Fishers. However, what really makes this practice stand out are the relationships that are built here each and every day.
This office truly has a Feel Good Vibe from the moment you walk through the door and especially once you get to meet the people. As can be seen by their Google reviews, patients at Sadler Orthodontics rave about the amazing staff and care that they receive. This place makes you feel special.
Dr. Chuck realized he wanted to pursue a career in dentistry during a month-long Mission trip to Peru his sophomore year at DePauw in which he worked alongside Dr. Michael King DDS of Bloomington Indiana. We pulled a lot of teeth that month and I loved it so much that I went on another trip the following year with Dr. King to Guatemala. I am still friends with my early mentor to this day, Sadler says. Upon graduating from DePauw, Sadler married his wife, Jamie, and began working on his MSD and DDS degrees both from IU School of Dentistry. Jamie took a job at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, and so they ended up moving into Sunblest Apartments in Fishers in 1988. During that time, the couple realized Fishers was a great place to live, work and raise a family.
Fishers was halfway between Muncie and the dental school in downtown Indianapolis, Sadler says. I was in school for six years four years of dental school and then two years in my orthodontic residency. During that time, we watched Fishers grow. It seemed like the place to be, and I knew it was where I wanted to start an orthodontic practice.
Dr. Chuck opened the first orthodontic practice in Fishers on the SE corner of 116th and Allisonville Rd. in the fall of 1994. Yes, I was in that building that is currently vacant, Sadler says. Outgrowing that location after five years, they moved to its present site in 1999.
There is no question that orthodontics has changed significantly over the last 25 years we are doing amazing things with Invisalign, 3-D technology, and Clarity braces these days, Sadler says. We set ourselves apart early by providing Clarity (Clear) braces at no extra charge back in the 90s when they first came out. Believe it or not, we have a lot of patients who prefer one of our two different Gold braces as well as the traditional metal braces all at no extra cost to the patient. Today, a lot of general dentists are offering Invisalign, but there is a significant difference in training. Orthodontics is all we do, all day long.
Dr. Stuart Ryan, HSE graduate and son of Dr. Greg Ryan D.D.S., joined Sadlers team of professionals in 2018. They are proud to have one of the only orthodontic practices in Indiana to have two orthodontists certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, a rare (<50%) distinction in orthodontics.
Sadler Orthodontics is more than just straightening teeth, its also about developing relationships with our patients and their families, he says. We try to make it as much fun as possible.”
