Spencer McOscar and his co-workers get a bang out of their work.

He says it’s been that way ever since the business, Crazy Joe’s Fireworks in Warsaw,  started in 1989 in Monroe, Michigan.

“Crazy Joe’s operated out of a tent and temporary stores, from the month of May through July 10 of the year,” McOscar says.

The original owner was Joseph McOscar, when the company was operating in Michigan.

In 2007 Spencer McOscar, Joseph’s son, and Linda McOscar, Joseph’s wife, decided to start a more permanent business in Indiana.

“At this time, Joseph retired from the company,” McOscar says. “However, he did provide some input when needed.”

“I have over 30 years of experience within the firework industry,” McOscar says. “I offer all types of fireworks – fountains, repeater cakes, finale cakes, Roman candles and much more.”

McOscar notes that the company is open year-round.

“It does, however, close after January 1, and reopens approximately two weeks into May,” he says. “I offer appointments during the time in between.”

McOscar is a busy man.
