The American Red Cross presented Mayor Carol Pike with an award for the tremendous support of a recent Red Cross blood drive held over the July 4th holiday. The drive spanned two days and was a huge success, thanks in large part to the generosity and community spirit of Jeffersontown. Enough blood was collected to help save 600 people!
The support helped share an important message during a critical time this summer, when the Red Cross was experiencing a blood crisis and an urgent need for lifesaving donations.
Mark your calendars for the next two-day event December 28th and 29th at the Jeffersonian.
