Property Tax season is upon us here in the City of Jeffersontown and with that comes deadlines for you to remember!
October 31st is the deadline for the discount period for taxpayers to pay their real estate tax bill on or before October 31st to received a 2% discount.
The face amount of tax is due if paid between November 1st and December 31st. Tax payments made on or after Janurary 1st will be assessed a one-time 6% penalty and begin to accrue interest at the rate of 6% annually.
