Jeffersontown Summer Beer Fest Is Back

It is summertime, and that means it is time to celebrate the Jeffersontown Summer Beer Fest, produced by the Jeffersontown Chamber and HB Productions. This year’s event has some cool new features and will bring back some of the best tastes from the start of the festival almost 10 years ago.
This year’s hoppy highlights feature two festival areas. On the Kentucky side, 3rd Turn Brewing will headline the brewers bash with some of its favorite flavors and concoctions. There will be live music and a plethora of featured flavors. On the Louisville side, this year’s Beer Fest event will feature vendors, more beer bars and some nontraditional beverages.
The Jeffersontown Summer Beer Fest will feature more than 90 craft beers from brewers like Country Boy and Hop Valley. Familiar brands like Braxton from Northern Kentucky and Against the Grain will be back this year too.
The Truly Beyond Beer Bar is a new feature and will offer seltzers, malt beverages, Twisted Tea and more.
Live music in both lots will set the scene for an afternoon of dancing and fun. Other activities will include the Oliver Winery ring toss, corn hole and brewery games.
Food trucks like Fresh Out the Box, Six Forks Burger Company, Bamba Eggroll Company, Froggy’s Popcorn, Romira’s Cantina, Copper Kitchen and others will be on-site to celebrate the summer. Local celebrities and media personalities will also be on hand.

Tickets: $45 in advance at select Cox’s & Evergreen Liquors (Jeffersontown and Middletown Locations). Limited availability for in-store tickets. Also available online for $45, and $160 for a four-pack. Tickets are $55 at the door on the day of the event, if it is not sold out prior to July 16. Designated drivers are $10.
