Jack Brittingham, a managing partner with Texas Roadhouse, believes the popular restaurant chain has been successful because of its strong reputation for outstanding food and service.

Customers know they are getting the absolute best.

Brittingham says he has already seen the new Carmel-Westfield location impressing local residents.

“We have received an overwhelming amount of excitement from this community, and we too are excited to be a part of this community,” he says.

Brittingham expects the excitement to continue, and he plans to be busy for quite a while.

“I am in a partnership with Texas Roadhouse and locally own and operate this location,” he says. “We have a Carmel address, but we are in Westfield municipalities. Our address is 14758 Greyhound Plaza, Carmel, hence that’s why we call our location Carmel-Westfield.”

Brittingham adds that he believes the Texas Roadhouse Team has picked an ideal location.

“Westfield is growing and very much family to us,” Brittingham says. “I’ve heard many times from people of the community say, ‘Finally, an affordable steakhouse that I can take my entire family to.’”

Brittingham believes it all comes down to the food, and how the customer is treated.

“Legendary Food, Legendary Service is what we do,” Brittingham says. “We take pride in making our food from scratch. This includes all hot and cold side items. Salads and dressings, our fresh baked bread, our legendary margaritas, and yes, our steaks are hand-cut in-house, daily. We then season, sear and cook to perfection, and of course, we deliver with a smile.”

Texas Roadhouse is also well known for its wide variety of customer favorites.

“Customer choices include the Cactus Blossom Appetizer, the 6oz Sirloin, the 8oz Dallas Filet, Bone-in Ribeye, a Half or Full Rack of Fall-off-the Bone Ribs, Baked potato with butter, sour cream, cheese and bacon, and, of course, the Rolls and Honey Cinnamon Butter,” Brittingham says.

Texas Roadhouse also has a Ft.Worth Ribeye, juicy and flavorful due to the marbling throughout the steak, served with a choice of two sides: a Steak Kabob and The Roadkill, a 10oz chip steak smothered with sautéed onions, sautéed mushrooms and jack cheese, served with a choice of two sides.

Country Dinners featured are a Country Fried Sirloin, a hand-battered, fresh-cut sirloin served crispy and golden, topped with made-from-scratch cream gravy — a Pulled Pork Dinner and Grilled Pork Chops.

Dockside favorites include Grilled Shrimp, Fried Catfish and Grilled Salmon. A variety of burgers, salads and sandwiches are also available.

Ice-cold beverages include the new Kenny’s Cooler, inspired by Singer Kenny Chesney’s island lifestyle. It’s a Blue Chair Bay Coconut Rum and DeKuyper Peach Schnapps mixed with Minute Maid Lemonade, signature sweet and sour and Mononoke Blue Curaçao. Another choice featured is The Jamaican Cowboy, a Malibu Rum and DeKuper Peachtree Schnapps with orange and pineapple juices, along with with a splash of original Margarita.

Brittingham has his own special food menu choice.

“My personal favorite is the Bone-in Ribeye smothered with shrimp, a loaded sweet potato and a cup of chili with cheese and onions,” he says.

Brittingham has personally had a long run with Texas Roadhouse.

“I have been with Texas Roadhouse for 17 and a half fantastic and fun years,” Brittingham says. “I started working at Texas Roadhouse in the kitchen cooking ribs while attending Indiana University. I recognized quickly that food, hospitality and Texas Roadhouse is my passion.”

When he’s not working, Brittingham is busy with his family.

“I’ve been married eight years,” he says. “We have two wonderful children that I can’t get enough of, ages two and five.”

Brittingham adds that he has been impressed with the local community.

“I want to thank people again for having us be a part of their community,” he says. “We look forward to serving you and building great partnerships within this town.”
