Lauren Lofgren, director of communications for Kids 360° Early Learning Academy, says she is excited about the new, state-of-the-art preschool opening later this year.
The preschool, located inside the new Wrights 360° Movement Academy, creates a unique learning environment for young children.
The building is owned by both Casey Wright and Tate Schuetz, Lofgren says. Well open this August. Weve already begun preregistration and will host tours of the building in June.
Its a first-of-its-kind preschool for kids aged 3 to 5.
Backed by science, our progressive, movement-based curriculum primes the brain for learning, improves sensory-motor integration, and helps kids build healthy life skills, Lofgren says.
Lofgren notes that there are many great benefits at the preschool to help children develop their brains at a young age. The staff members believe that the earlier children begin to learn, the better.
Our motto is Flex your brain, Lofgren says. We mean it. Research has shown that physical activity positively affects the portion of our brain responsible for learning and memory.
At Kids 360° Early Learning Academy, the goal is to help develop healthy, active, confident children who are prepared to learn.
Our grads will be not only academically prepared, but with a better-developed vestibular system, Lofgren says. They will be able to be more attentive, think independently, be physically patient and be emotionally regulated. Our preschoolers will flex their brains to become the best learners they can be.
Lofgren adds that early enrollment is now open for the fall 2022 school year.
Lofgren notes that Kids 360° is a nonprofit.
Our mission is to be the leaders in movement-based early education, and show how a curriculum designed around rapid vestibular stimulation does just that, she says. We will actively track our kiddos movements via wearable fitness trackers. Our hope is that both expansive space and intentional movement become the standard for early-childhood education.
The academys 1,000-square-foot classrooms extend both outdoors and into their 35,000-square-foot indoor gym. The unique curriculum will allow kids to explore and experience learning. The staff members believe 3-year-olds shouldnt be required to sit still. They encourage kids to get the wiggles out all day long.
Lofgren says the academys staff also believes all kids deserve to build strong bodies, brains and muscles, so they put together an environment designed to foster movement and learning at the same time. They believe kids imaginations should be allowed to run wild, and they create classroom communities that feel like home.
