Women of Westfield is a place for women to come together and be themselves. No matter what stage of life these women are in, Women of Westfield is a welcoming space for women to focus on themselves while connecting with other women in the community.
What started as a group of women getting together with a shared vision of creating a women’s group in Westfield in 2018 has evolved into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization led by a volunteer board of directors.
Over the years, Women of Westfield has created a space in the community that fosters a welcoming environment to bring women together. In November, they will host their annual BE Event.
“Women of Westfield (WOW) is a community where women can connect, be themselves, and feel like they belong. We create opportunities for real friendships and meaningful experiences while giving back to the community we call home. Our impact is both personal and community-wide. We help women build relationships and feel more connected to Westfield, and each year, we make financial contributions to local nonprofits and/or schools through our annual BE Event and birthday celebration,” says Jill Doyle, Women of Westfield board president.
Women who are interested in Women of Westfield can get involved by following WOW on social media or visiting its website, womenofwestfield.com. Women can also sign up for the newsletter, which lists social events. Women of Westfield offers two types of social membership options: free and VIP.
“Women of Westfield offers two types of memberships. A free Social Membership is a great way to stay connected. Women can sign up on our website to receive emails about upcoming events, in addition to following our social media pages. Our VIP Membership is $60 per year and includes these additional benefits: one free VIP ticket to our annual BE Event (a $60 value), a free mug and an ongoing 25% discount on single drinks at RIVET, discounts on all other WOW events and free events exclusively for VIP members. Both memberships offer opportunities to meet other women and become part of the WOW community,” says Doyle.
Throughout the year, Women of Westfield offers a diverse variety of paid and free social events, including classes that cover a variety of interests, such as art, cooking, mixology and flower arranging; regular socials for women to mingle; scavenger hunts; and educational programs.
Women of Westfield’s signature event is its BE Event. Each year, the event has a specific theme, with this year’s emphasis being “Be Empathetic.” The BE Event is Women of Westfield’s largest event of the year, and in 2026, it will take place Nov. 12.
“The Be Empathetic event brings women together for an evening of connection, shopping with local vendors, speakers, appetizers, and beverages. Our BE events also typically include breakout sessions that offer opportunities to explore the theme more deeply. It’s a special evening that combines fun, reflection, and meaningful conversation. And we’re grateful to have Community Health as a partner and sponsor,” says Doyle.
To learn more about the upcoming Be Empathetic Event, details, registration and ticket information can all be found on the event page on the Women of Westfield website.
“Most of all, we want women to know they are welcome. Whether you’re new to Westfield, attending your first WOW event, or a familiar face who joins us regularly, you have a place here. Every event brings together a different mix of women, and we love seeing the friendships that grow from simply showing up and getting to know one another,” says Doyle.
