Along with the excitement of an engagement comes those overwhelming questions and comments from well-meaning friends andwedding day planning family members: When’s the date? Do you have a photographer? Did you book a florist? Will it be a buffet or plated dinner? Are you doing a long or short ceremony? Well, you should have booked the venue last year – what do you mean you haven’t done it yet? Who do you have for hair and makeup? That needs to be booked ASAP!

While your head is spinning with excitement and anticipation of your upcoming nuptials, all of these questions can turn that joy into anxiety. This is only the beginning of the wedding planning to-do list and process, and this is where a planner comes into play to help you get organized, figure out the details and maintain your sanity.

wedding day planningWhether you choose full planning, partial planning, or event management (also known as month-of coordination), your wedding day is in good hands with a planner. When you hire a planner, you receive help and guidance in making your vision come to life. The details are covered from small to large, the logistics of the timeline are monitored so they run smoothly, and the vendor team is created as a strong, supportive group. You rest easy knowing you have a main point person for your vendors, family members and yourself, even if an issue arises or extra questions come about.

Not only does a planner help execute your day, but more importantly, the planner gives insight and adds perspective during the planning process, from start to finish. A planner not only makes sure you think about X, Y and Z, but also makes sure you consider the what-ifs. What-ifs are always part of the planning. For example, Indiana weather doesn’t always play nice, so you have to consider the options.

At the end of the day, a planner is there to make sure you, your significant other, and family members and guests can all live in the moment during your wedding day. You are able to enjoy it stress-free surrounded by close friends and family, which is why our slogan is “It’s KEE to be a guest at your own event.”wedding day planning
