Harbour ManorPatrick Moormann, a certified nursing assistant at Harbour Manor & The Lodge, is continually inspired by the residents and staff he works with.

He is moved by how strong and resilient the residents and staff have been during hectic and stressful times. In the face of a pandemic, he says everyone has risen to the challenge, and couldn’t be more proud of the people around him.

“In the beginning of this past year, when we were dealing with COVID-19, there was panic and confusion,” Moormann says. “There were few of us that worked the COVID-19 unit. We were isolated from everyone else. The residents under our care only had us to talk to, and us to them. We just tried to keep their hopes up, and their minds on other things.”

Harbour Manor & The Lodge offers services for assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, long-term care and memory support.

Moormann has enjoyed working with the residents during stressful times. He is encouraged by how resilient and courageous everyone has been.
