Connecting people to the right resources can take more than just a conversation. Help with jobs, housing, healthcare, and more will be available at the Hamilton County Community Resource Fair from 11-3 on July 20 at the Noblesville School Community Center at 1775 Field Drive.
“The more we know about the resources readily available to address all our issues and needs, the more connected and stronger we will be as a community helping everyone, including veterans of military service,” says Bill Doss with the Hamilton County Veterans Corp.
As one of the largest community resource fairs in Indiana, Doss says they will have 85 tables with a vast swath of services on-site. The Roudebush VA hospital will have three rooms to cover the PACT Act, COMPACT Act, toxic screenings, filing claims and signing up our Military Veteran Community (MVC) into the VA system.
Other free resources on-site will include Hamilton County Veteran Service Officers, Indiana WorkOne, the Hamilton County Health Department, and a number of other agencies who can assist with everything from mental health wellness to housing to insurance and education.
The HCVC is a 501C3 non-profit Veteran organization.
