Curtis Painter, customer experience manager for Indiana Liquor Group, says the upcoming Whiskeyfest, hosted by Noble Wine & Spirits and located at Mustard Seed Gardens event facility, will be a fun time for all cognac vs whiskey enthusiasts.

“Our Whiskeyfest events will serve as a means to fund our company charity, Spirits for Smiles, which aims to assist Hoosier families in gaining access to quality dental care they would otherwise not be able to afford without assistance,” Painter says.

The first-ever Noblesville Whiskeyfest will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on October 15 at Mustard Seed Gardens. Painter says all proceeds from ticket sales and live auction will go to out charity.

“Whiskeyfest will be host to over 50 samples of whiskeys, a lottery for the option to buy allocated products, and a live auction for some of the most sought-after bottles of whiskeys,” Painter says. “We will have various light hors d’oeuvres to enjoy throughout the event in the form of a charcuterie board, as well as non-alcoholic options.”

Many items will be raffled and auctioned.

“They are highly sought-after whiskeys with very limited access in Indiana,” Painter says. “The most exciting thing people can look forward to is to have the option to buy many of these items at normal retail value. All sampled items will be offered at a 10% discount during our event, minus our private-barrel picks.”

Painter says Indiana Liquor Group acquired Mr. G’s Liquors in December of 2019, and the group rebranded the store as Noble Wine & Spirits in June of 2020 as the first of its stores under the Indiana Liquor Group organization.

Indiana Liquor Group was created by three local investors in 2018. The group currently operates 44 retail liquor stores throughout the north-central area of Indiana.

“This is a very fun industry to be a part of,” Painter says. “Beer, wine and spirits have a way of bringing people together for special occasions such as holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, etcetera. To be able to provide a bit of excitement to people is rewarding. When you can pair that with our charity, and doing good for Hoosiers in the communities we service, it is even better.”

Painter says the event organizers plan to take appropriate safety and health measures for guests in light of the coronavirus pandemic, including table distancing, hand sanitizers and signage regarding masks.

Painter says Noble Wine & Spirits will also adhere to the guidelines Mustard Seed Gardens has in place for events.

“We want this to be a fun and safe event for attendees, all while following the governor’s mandate in place,” Painter says.
