New Kitchen Store Has All Your Outdoor Cooking Solutions

Story and Photography Provided

Days are getting longer and activities will soon fill up your days. Quick cooking is a necessity. Grilling is a wonderful way to get dinner on the table fast without using as many dishes as other cooking methods. No matter what your outdoor cooking preference is, New Kitchen Store has you covered.

New Kitchen StoreFor the grill, the store has:

  • Tools to clean
  • Tools to flip
  • Gloves to protect your hands
  • Prep tools (burger presses, injectors)
  • Thermometers (no bringing food back to the grill)
  • Baskets for specialty food such as quesadillas or stuffed burgers
  • Mesh bags for the tiniest of veggies and jalapeño roasters

Now let’s talk about what goes on the grill. We dont sell cuts of meat, but what we do sell is what you might want to enhance that prime choice. We also have a wall of spices that will go well with anything you place on your grill. We even have a beautiful collection of salts and peppers for those who want it plain.

Oils, sauces, rubs, vinegars – the choices are endless. Our store also carries cedar wood planks and wraps for that delicate, smoked flavor.

At a loss for what to make? We even have cookbooks to help inspire and control those burning flames.

Grilling doesnt have to be reserved for adults either. The County Fair has created a grilling class for all ages to start learning this valuable life skill. New Kitchen Store supports the local grilling competitions and we fund the Marshall County 4-H program. My son signed up last year for grilling and was in competition with other teens in the area. It was a good time. Its wonderful for me to be able to ask my 16-year-old to go turn on the grill and help me make dinner.

Moving on, for those of you who like the smokiness of choice meats – we have a nice selection of wood chips, wood bisquettes and smoke. Wish you had a smoker? We even sell smoke bombs that will turn any charcoal or gas grill into a smoker.

It was 6 a.m. on a Friday, I was speaking with my brother on the phone and he mentioned he was cooking a steak for breakfast because he had a taste for steak and eggs. I asked him if he was outside at the grill. He said he was not, and he was using his cast-iron skillet to cook his meal.

If you are not a fan of outdoor grilling but like steak, we can help with that too.

We have a grand selection of Lodge cookware. We carry small to large cast-iron items, starting with a 3.5” mini skillet (I cant imagine what that little thing is used for), woks, griddles, Dutch ovens, all the way up to a 17” dual-handle skillet. The panini press is a nice extra and we carry accompanying cookbooks as well. We even carry the lighter, carbon-steel cookware from Lodge – you dont have to be a bodybuilder to cook with these.

A little bit of history regarding this amazing cookware. Back in 1876, Joseph Lodge started what we now call Lodge Manufacturing Company. This cookware is unparalleled in performance. It can be placed on the stove, in the oven and on the grill. Of course, an open campfire is a prime choice for these. The cookware is so durable that it can be passed on from generation to generation. The line is still made in the U.S.A. and they employ 15% of the population in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.

Whether you are hosting a backyard gathering or cooking for your family, New Kitchen Store can assist. Stop by today to get your meals ready.
