Glamour and Grace Boutique Creates Stylish, Affordable Looks for Every Woman
For Chrissy Hitchcock, home has always meant more than a place on the map. She has called Tipton County home for most of her life, having graduated from Tri-Central High School and now living in Howard County, where her presence in the community continues to grow. Hitchcock recently opened Glamour and Grace Boutique, along with two business partners.
Their connections to the area run deep, and it’s home in every sense of the word to them.
Before Glamour and Grace Boutique came to life, Hitchcock and her partners were already familiar faces in the community.
“All three of us — Gina, Kinlee, and I — sell real estate with The Key Team at The Hardie Group,” she says. “But we were itching to create something new, creative, and fun.”
Their shared love for fashion became the spark.
“We’ve always loved the joy of finding that perfect outfit,” she says. “Opening the boutique was a way to blend our love of shopping, style, and connection with other women. There’s nothing better than helping someone feel confident and beautiful in what they wear.”
Support came quickly, both from their families and from the community.
“Our biggest supporters have absolutely been our families and spouses — they’ve cheered us on from day one,” she says. “And of course, our amazing customers. The loyalty and encouragement we’ve received since opening have meant the world to us. We’re incredibly proud of the community that has grown around our boutique — it feels like one big family.”
The Glamour and Grace story began in March 2024, when the team launched a boutique trailer in Kokomo.
“It took off faster than we ever expected,” Hitchcock says. By September 2025, they had grown into their first storefront in downtown Tipton. “It’s been such a fun and rewarding journey.”
Inside the store, shoppers can expect pieces that balance comfort, style, and affordability.
“Our goal is to make fashion fun, easy, and affordable for every woman,” she says. “We carry a curated mix of styles — from comfy loungewear and trendy athletic sets to denim, sweaters, statement tops, and seasonal pieces. Whether you’re dressing up for date night or keeping it casual on the weekend, we’ve got something you’ll love.”
With the holidays approaching, the boutique is embracing the festive season.
“You can find our boutique trailer at the Spooner Market on November 23,” Hitchcock says. “Our Tipton storefront will be celebrating Black Friday and Small Business Saturday with special events, promotions, and plenty of festive vibes. We’re also extending our hours throughout the holiday season to make shopping even easier.”
Community involvement has always been part of their identity.
“Supporting our community has always been part of who we are,” she says. “We’ve sponsored local events and love donating gift certificates to area schools, fundraisers and organizations. Giving back to the same community that supports us just feels right.”
Opening a storefront in Tipton has brought things full circle for the Howard County native and her team.
“The support from the local shops and residents has been incredible — we’ve truly felt welcomed with open arms,” she says. “We’ve met so many wonderful people and built lasting friendships through this journey. Being part of the Tipton community is something we’re deeply proud of, and we’re excited for many more years of fashion, fun, and friendship ahead.”
