The local Kids Against Hunger affiliate is participating in the“FFA Rally to Fight Hunger” event going on this week in Indianapolis as part of the FFA’s national convention. The goal is to pack one million meals in two and half days.
Chris Osborne of Kids Against Hunger said “Kids Against Hunger-Greenwood is proud to be working with an amazing organization like the National FFA. We will pack 1 Million meals in 2 ½ days using over 10,000 FFA members and local volunteers. Half of the meals will stay in Central Indiana through Gleaners and the other half will go to Haiti
through Food for the Poor. We hope this event is just a beginning to our relationship with FFA through events at the state and local chapter level for years to come.”
