Each year, approximately 33 college-aged women are selected as 500 Festival Princesses from hundreds of applicants based on their communication skills, academic performance and community involvement.
This year, three women, all Center Grove alumni, were selected for the honor. Congratulations to Eva Li, Ariel Gastelum and Alyssa Fain on being selected!
Li is a Center Grove High School alum and currently a junior at Indiana University who is majoring in Nutrition Science. Gastelum, also a CGHS alum, is majoring in Marketing, Supply Chain Management and International Studies in her junior year at IUPUI. Fain is a CGHS alum studying Marketing and Management in her senior year at Indiana University.
The 500 Festival Princess Program “celebrates Indiana’s most civic-minded, academically driven young women.” The honor comes with several perks, including serving as an ambassador for the 500 Festival, a $1,000 scholarship for college, custom-made jewelry and more.
