Tangerine Cards & Gifts is now open in Geist. The 1,600 square-foot space is located at 10130 Brooks School Road just off of Fall Creek Road. The space has been remodeled to house rows of greeting cards, gifts for the house, gifts for girlfriends, hostess gifts and even gifts for the baby, too.
Owner Sue Colombini, who also owns the Tangerine store in Carmel says she is excited to be in Geist.
We were excited to open here, Colombini says. There just seemed to be a void here for a place where you could pick up a card, as well as a gift on the go. Its been doing great so far.
Colombini shops the Atlanta area to merchandise her two stores.
Some of the novelty finds Tangerine has to offer includes items for the home such as pillows, tea towels, BlueQ oven mitts, along with personalized cutting boards, wine stoppers and serving bowls. You can also find Swell water bottles, baby clothes and items for the nursery such as toys and family is everything and this is our happy place wall decor. There are shoes by Matisse, Boho Bandeau headbands, hand lotions and soaps, a nice assortment of jewelry, including Mantra Band bracelets and Marianna collection necklaces.
You will also find seasonal décor such as Halloween-inspired glassware and napkins and several State of mine items in the shape of Indiana and items geared to the locals such as the real housewives of Geist cups.
Colombini says seasonal merchandise is also out along with sweaters and transitional clothing to ease into fall. Theres also some reduced prices on their remaining summer inventory, as well. As for the name of the store, how did Colombini come up with Tangerine? Colombini says it is the name of a store she heard of a few years ago.
I always remembered that name so I thought maybe that will work for everyone else, she says.
