The Indy Crash Women’s Football team is hosting a private Valentine’s Day fundraiser for their upcoming 2017 season on February 11th from 5 until 9 pm. Through this fundraiser, they are hoping to receive funding for their first home game in early April this year. The team survives primarily on minimal sponsorship money, players’ fees, and the personal funds of the owners. Each fundraiser attendee will pay $25 at the door, and the fee covers luxuries such as a food buffet, 2 ticket vouchers for the Indy Crash home opener, and a raffle ticket for a prize drawing. During the fundraiser, music will be provided by a professional DJ, and players will be available to sign autographs. A live player auction is also being arranged, and details will be available mid-January. Additionally, there will be a silent auction from 5-7, comprised of Super Bowl 50 jerseys, Manning jerseys, sports memorabilia, collectibles, gift cards, services, and other products.
The Indy Crash Women’s Football team is owned by April Pries and Leslie Neff, and the team has been playing football for well over 10 years. Their mission is to promote women in sports and provide all women with opportunities to come together as one team, encouraging diversity and striving to be role models for young girls.
