Last Friday evening there was a terrible accident in Lawrence on Pendleton Pike that involved a School Bus and a vehicle driven by Sharod Nelson, a senior at Lawrence North High School. Sharod was critically injured and remains in this condition at Methodist Hospital. His mother is a long time resident and employee in the Lawrence community.
We have opened a savings account at the request of the family for people to make donations. Donations can be made at any Financial Center location to the Sharod Nelson Medical Fund.
