Curley Brothers has specialized in providing the best in brick and stone applications as well as exceptional service for exterior, interior and hardscapes for residential and commercial projects since November 1997. Their showroom, conveniently located in Hamilton County, boasts an expansive selection of natural stone, manufactured stone and brick for their customers to select from.
“We’ve been in the masonry business since 1970,” Tom Curley said. “We’ve seen many trends in brick and stone over the decades. People went from traditional brick facades to all-white and painted back to regular brick and recently, we are seeing a strong trend in natural and manufactured stone veneer applications. The latest trend is spot stone within brick walls creating an entirely unique look to the finished facade.”
Tom explained that the stone veneer is available in either a thin veneer or a full thickness veneer depending on application. Curley Brothers Brick and Masonry offers a wide selection of both natural and manufactured stone. One of the benefits to manufactured products is that they are less expensive than natural stone and easier to apply reducing the labor cost that plays into the over-all affordability factor as well.
Owner Mike Curley explained how the geography of the stone dictates the color and variety of stone that they bring into their showroom. They acquire their stone products from Indiana, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and other areas throughout the United States.
“Indiana tends to have more of the grey and tan hues,” Mike explained. “The more colorful stone comes from areas like Wisconsin where glaciers had an effect on the stone in the ground. Although, there are plenty of affordable and attractive stone available, right here in Indiana. Some of our customers like the cultured stone for the reason that one can choose from a variety of colors at Curley Brothers.
As many homeowners are improving their existing homes and upgrading their landscapes to include outdoor living areas and hardscapes, the staff at Curley Brothers Brick and Masonry have seen an increasing trend in outdoor fire pits and full-scale outdoor fireplaces, larger slab face mix pavers.
The owner and his staff have expanded their outdoor showroom to showcase the variety of outdoor hardscape applications that they provide their commercial and residential customers and invite the public to come out and visit with any of their knowledgeable staff members.
Curley Brothers Brick and Masonry is a family-owned and operated business that promotes the development and growth of their associates. They pride themselves in being the original specialists in masonry and veneer and hardscapes.
“Most of our local competitors do not specialize in both, just one or the other,” Mike stated. “Many of them began their careers working with us before going out on their own.”
Adam Woodall, senior estimator, expressed his dedication to ensuring that their customers receive the highest level of customer service.
“I enjoy working with our customers on their projects,” Woodall said. “I am dedicated to making sure that our customers leave our show room well-informed about their options and that they are excited about their respective projects.”
Mike concluded, “We don’t care if it’s one brick or 100,000 bricks, our customers always get the same high level of service and dedication to customer satisfaction from us. We guarantee all of our products and service. We have 30 years of knowledge, experience and creativity behind us.”
