While Fisher’s and Noblesville’s are near each other, but there is a world of difference between them. Fishers wants to throw out all the businesses and people who live in the downtown? The real reason, they don’t want to pay for repair of sewers, streets, they want a developer to pay for all of it, they don’t want to improve the area, they want a developer to increase the value to get more tax dollars. Now on the other hand Noblesville seeks to get Catherine street designated an Historic District, to keep its charm and character, it means the city will have to spend money to improve infer structure and since it has a lot of older homes its tax base will not go up.
Maybe we should look at the names of the cities, Noblesville is rather Noble and well Fishers is rather Fishy.
