Burritos & Beer Offers Authentic Mexican Dishes

Ana Esqueda, the owner of Burritos & Beer, 14094 Trade Center Drive, Fishers, says the title of her restaurant leaves no doubt as to what’s popular on their menu.
“Our customers love our steak burritos, and most of them add our queso,” Esqueda says. “They also love and are obsessed with our jalapeño ranch salsa. They add it to everything: our burritos, quesadillas, tacos, taco salads and chips.”
Burritos & Beer has attracted a large number of extremely loyal customers since they opened in 2014.
“We’re a family-owned company,” Esqueda says. “We also own two additional companies: a construction company since 2004 (AEF Construction Inc.), and a crane company since 2006 (AEF Crane Services, LLC). Our offices for those are located here in Fishers as well.”
But Burritos & Beer has a special place in her heart. She wants to continue to keep things special with new food items on the menu.
“We introduced tortas (Mexican sandwiches) at the beginning of the year, and they’ve become one of our customers’ favorites,” Esqueda says. “I love all of our menu items, but the ones I eat most often are our shrimp tacos, burritos and nachos. They’re full of flavor.”
Esqueda adds that Burritos & Beer has traditional items that are found in the heart of Mexico, and also Baja, California and New Mexico. Their Tortilla Soup is not to be missed.
Another excellent menu item is the Grilled Quesadillas, served in a flour tortilla with cheese and fresh Pico de Gallo, topped with sour cream and a choice of delicious filling. The flavorful food has been one of the main reasons the restaurant has been so successful.
“The community response has been very positive,” Esqueda says. “Our customers love our food. It is very rewarding when they let us know how much they like our food. We don’t do much advertising. Our best advertising has been word-of-mouth. Our sales have increased on average by 25 percent each year since we opened.”
Esqueda adds that she can’t say enough positive things about Fishers.
“Fishers has been our home for the last 13 years,” Esqueda says. “We live here and work here, and we have been able to thrive in this community. We are so excited for all the economic growth our city is having.”
Esqueda and her staff have made a lot of new friends since they opened.
“We love to serve our customers,” she says. “Again, it is very rewarding when we hear our customer’s positive experiences at Burritos & Beer.”
Esqueda has another theory as to why Burritos & Beer has grown in popularity: the main cook.
“Our motto is ‘Straight Out of Mom’s Kitchen,’” she says. “Our mom is the cook at Burritos & Beer. All of our menu items are her own recipes. She makes sure our food is fresh (made from scratch) and full of flavor.”
Only the freshest ingredients are used.
“Our rice is not precooked, like in many other Mexican restaurants. Our beans, salsas and guacamole are not canned or pre-made,” Esqueda says. “We have lots of choices that our customers can choose from.”
