Lincoln Square Pancake House, a cherished family-owned restaurant brand in central Indiana, has expanded its footprint with a new location at 8902 E. 96th St. in Fishers. The establishment officially opened its doors shortly after Christmas 2024, ushering in the new year with its signature blend of hearty breakfasts and warm hospitality.
The 96th Street venue is the 15th addition to the Lincoln Square family, which has been serving the community since its inception in 1989. George and Helen Katris immigrated to the United States from Greece in 1976. They raised their children, Chris and Denise, in Chicago while George worked in the restaurant business, hoping to one day own his own establishment. In 1989, George learned about a prime location in Kokomo and decided to take a risk. He opened the Lincoln Square Pancake House on Lincoln Road in Kokomo. As his children went off to college, he went on to open additional locations in northern Indiana.
Pete Apostolou, George’s nephew, oversees the latest location as the owner and managing partner. As a Fishers resident for more than 15 years, Apostolou says he is excited to bring the beloved eatery to his local community.
“We’ve been eyeing Fishers for quite some time,” Apostolou says. “Finding a spot with ample parking, good visibility and sufficient space was crucial. This location checked all those boxes.” The restaurant occupies a 3,000-square-foot space, previously home to a bakery, and features a welcoming patio area for outdoor dining.
True to its roots, Lincoln Square Pancake House continues to offer a menu filled with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, a testament to its commitment to supporting local farmers and businesses. Patrons can enjoy breakfast favorites all day. Lunch options are equally enticing, featuring a variety of all-American meals crafted to satisfy diverse palates.
The restaurant’s unwavering commitment to quality and community is evident in its operations. Each location showcases the character and charm of its neighborhood, fostering a sense of belonging among patrons. “Our goal at Lincoln Square is to provide our guests with great food at a fair price, served promptly by friendly and professional staff in a clean and comfortable environment,” Apostolou says. The team at Lincoln Square Pancake House values each and every one of its patrons and strives to create a welcoming community for all.
In addition to dine-in services, Lincoln Square Pancake House offers catering for various events, allowing guests to enjoy their delicious offerings beyond the restaurant’s walls. This service underscores the brand’s dedication to meeting the needs of its customers, whether they’re hosting a business meeting or a family gathering.
The Fishers location operates daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., welcoming both early risers and brunch enthusiasts. With its combination of delectable dishes, inviting atmosphere and community-centric approach, the new Lincoln Square Pancake House, located on 96th Street, is poised to become a favorite dining destination for residents and visitors in the area.
