LinkmeyerLawrence Township welcomes Mr. Tom Linkmeyer as the Principal for Crestview Elementary School.  Mr. Linkmeyer has served as assistant principal at Wea Elementary School in Lafayette and for the past two years at Southport’s 6th Grade Academy in Perry Township.  Prior to that, Mr. Linkmeyer was an athletic director and teacher in three other Indiana districts.  He completed his administrative license and coursework in 2005 through Indiana Wesleyan University.  Mr. Linkmeyer has demonstrated the leadership, instructional knowledge, communication skills, and collaborative personality to successfully provide leadership and professional development opportunities for Crestview Elementary.

A chat with Principal Linkmeyer…..
What experiences in your past will help you lead Crestview Elementary?
“I feel that my experience as an Assistant Principal, Athletic Director and Elementary Teacher have prepared me to lead Crestview. I believe that parents are one of the most important keys in a child’s education.  I will encourage parent participation!”
What are you most excited about since joining the Lawrence community?
“The staff, parents and students at Crestview have been wonderful. They have made me feel so welcome. I look forward to assisting in the educational process of all our students.”
What message do you have for Crestview parents & students about the upcoming year?
“The 2008-09 school year will be an exciting year at Crestview. We hope you will find a way to get ‘plugged’ in to our school. We love to have parents visit our building….if nothing more than eating lunch with your child. Please stop in and see us during the school year.”
