Helping people avoid the same mistakes they made in their home build is the driving force behind Walk Your Plans Indy. Owned by Greenwood residents Luke and Jenna Dougherty, and Nathan and Aubrey Bush, the cutting-edge, technology-driven company is a new venture for the agriculture-focused couples.
“While this business is certainly different from our daily norm, driving tractors and harvesting crops, we are passionate about helping homeowners, builders, designers, architects, and designers avoid costly mistakes by providing an immersive service that allows them to truly walk 1:1 blueprints projected in our facility,” says Luke Dougherty, co-owner of Walk Your Plans Indy. “We are excited to provide ease and peace of mind for our clients during the biggest investment of their lives.”
The four friends remain dedicated to their agriculture jobs while also using their unique skillsets and passions to grow Walk Your Plans. Their ultimate goal is to reach builders and homeowners in all corners of the state to enhance and improve their custom home-building experience. In just a few weeks since they opened their doors, the team has welcomed a steady stream of clients, all of whom made changes to floorplans on the spot and with ease, prior to the start of construction – saving time, money, and a lot of headache.

“A member of our team will have your blueprint ready to walk – a lifesize floorplan projected onto the floor and walls of our more than 2,000 square-foot warehouse,” says Aubrey Bush, co-owner of Walk Your Plans Indy. “As you walk your plans, we can make real-time updates on our Vibe Board, a more interactive and realistic option than simply looking at floor plans on paper.”
“The whole experience truly allows you to get a feel for spaces, door placement, and more to ensure everything is exactly how you’re envisioning it,” adds Jenna Dougherty, co-owner of Walk Your Plans Indy.
Whether individuals need one visit or many, Walk Your Plans offers flexibility and hourly rates to ensure clients can utilize their services whenever and however often is most beneficial to their design and build process.
