CG Choirs Dominates at Franklin Central Hoosier Show Choir Classic

Center Grove choirs CG Sound System, CG Singers, The Debtones, Surround Sound, and The Accents competed at Franklin Central Hoosier Show Choir Classic 2021 in Indianapolis, Indiana on Saturday, February 27, 2021. CG Sound System was awarded Grand Champion in the Large Mixed Division, The Debtones were awarded Grand Champion in the Large Unisex Division, CG Singers were awarded Grand Champion in a Concert Choir Division, and The Accents were awarded Grand Champion in the Festival Division. CG Sound System, The Debtones, and The Accents also received caption awards for Best Vocals and Best Choreography.

For the solo competition, the competitors representing Center Grove were Abigail Johnson and Glenn Swaney. Glenn Swaney was awarded Grand Champion of the solo competition while Abigail Johnson was awarded first runner up all from Center Grove High School.
Individual performers recognized were Olivia Long, senior, outstanding performer for CG Sound System, Shelby Stickels, Junior, outstanding performer for The Debtones, Brooklyn Bruner, freshman, outstanding performer for The Accents, and Darby Horsman, senior, outstanding performer for The Surround Sound.

Center Grove Show Choirs CG Sound System, CG Singers, The Debtones, Surround Sound, and The Accents will compete at Avon High School in the Avon Vocal Invitational on Saturday, March 6, 2021.
