John OMalia, owner of OMalias Hard Surface Restoration in Westfield, says he learned the value of high-quality customer service from his family.
His uncle Joe owned the OMalias grocery chain, which had several locations in Indianapolis and Carmel. His parents, Helen and Bill OMalia, owned OMalias Living in Carmel, which offers products for fireplaces and outdoor spaces, such as a fireplace tile, maybe.
I learned that how you treat the customer is the key to running a successful business, OMalia says. Its what the customer remembers, and it determines whether or not they want to continue doing business with you. It was ingrained in me as I was growing up.

OMalia started the company in January of 2016, and says he and his staff strive to make sure every customer is happy.
