Kaleo Giving Circle has launched its 2026 Giving Campaign, marking a new chapter for the Central Indiana nonprofit and inviting community members to join together to support gospel-centered ministries transforming lives throughout the area.
Founded in 2008, Kaleo has brought people together around education, generosity, service and ministry partnership for nearly two decades. Since its founding, Kaleo has awarded more than $2 million to 20 nonprofit ministries serving Central Indiana.
Now, the organization has transitioned to a dedicated giving circle with a renewed focus on collective generosity and strategic ministry partnership.
“Kaleo has always been about bringing people together to learn, serve and give in ways that strengthen our community,” said Stephanie Patterson, president of Kaleo Giving Circle. “As we enter this new chapter, we want to invite others throughout Central Indiana to join us in practicing shared generosity and investing in ministries already doing transformational work in our community.”
Through its giving-circle model, contributions to Kaleo’s Grant Fund are pooled together and awarded to selected ministry partners. Gifts of any amount are welcome, allowing individuals to participate at the level that is right for them. Those who give a total of $1,000 or more to the Grant Fund during the campaign are eligible to participate in Kaleo’s grant voting process in January 2027.
Nine ministry partners are eligible to apply for Kaleo grants in 2026, representing a range of needs across Central Indiana, including food insecurity, homelessness, pregnancy support, youth mentoring, sexual exploitation, mental health and addiction recovery. A complete list of Kaleo’s 2026 ministry partners is available at kaleogiving.org.
The 2026 Giving Campaign continues through Dec. 31. In addition to the Grant Fund, donors may support Kaleo’s Administration Fund, which helps provide the operational resources necessary to carry out the organization’s work.
Kaleo is also seeking people interested in becoming involved beyond financial giving as the organization builds its new model, including volunteers who can contribute their time and talents in areas such as communications, events, administration, fundraising and outreach.
