One industry is synonymous with the economic success of the Warsaw area, and that is the manufacturing of orthopedic medical instruments. Paragon Medical is one of the companies that have built that industry, marking 25 years in the field.

Paragon Medical manufactures products and components for a global orthopedic market. This includes the development of new products that address changing regulations and needs of the medical market. These products range in size and sophistication, from tiny bone screws to endoscopic devices. Products designed and manufactured at the company include medical and surgical innovations, orthopedic products, robotics, and drug delivery systems.

Paragon Medical was established in 1991. Manufacturing of products began in 1996, and acquisitions since then have expanded the business locally, nationally and even internationally. The Warsaw operation began in 2006 with the purchase of the former Hand Industries. Today it is a division of MW Life Sciences based in Pierceton, Indiana.
