Christy Ferguson, Gina Kammerer and Taya Millikan have a very long history together that spans over three decades. All three of them grew up in Grant County, not far from one another, and were childhood and high school friends. Then 25 years later, they ended up settling down with their husbands and children in the same general area. Recently they decided to coordinate their efforts and talents in order to provide a service and fulfill a mission.
Christy Ferguson is a redesign queen and resides in Fishers. Before becoming a redesign specialist, Christy’s occupation as a dental hygienist sharpened her skills for a distinct awareness to detail and precision. She has been redesigning homes in the Fishers/Geist area on her own for approximately six years. As her business has grown, taking her into Indianapolis and the surrounding areas, she has enlisted the help of her assistants, Gina and Taya. Christy enhances your home by mixing what you have with things she purchases. She has never met a piece of furniture or home décor accessory that she could not make look great!
Gina Kammerer is a makeup artist, clothing stylist and organizer extraordinaire and resides in the McCordsville/Geist area. Gina’s background is in social work, providing counseling to children and families. Some might find her background a far cry from home redesign, makeup artistry and clothing styling, but what these three have found to be true is that home and personal style goes much deeper than what meets the eye as enhancing lives is part of their mission. Gina enhances the beauty you possess with her makeup and styling finesse. She can make sense of your image and style and organize your closet with room to spare while on a budget that your bank account can bear!
Taya Millikan is a clothing stylist and personal shopper aficionado and resides in the Noblesville/Westfield area. Previously Taya owned a home cleaning service, so she understands the importance of clients entrusting the care of their home and personal belongings to someone else. She focuses on the premise that when your house is in order, you are in order. Taya has a keen eye for fashion, and it shows through her fierce passion for keeping you classy and sassy! She is always ready to shop for you, birthdays, anniversaries or special events. You name it, and she can do it without a lot of stress.
The Gypsy Chicks believe that everyone should have a nice home to retreat to, no matter the size or cost. They want you to exude confidence and self-esteem with your personal style. The services that they provide span from home redesign, furniture and décor refurbishing/repurposing, event and holiday decorating, home/closet organizing, makeup artistry and wardrobe styling for family/senior pictures and special events, makeup application lessons and personal shopping for home, office, birthdays, anniversaries and special events.
Because it is important to The Gypsy Chicks to enhance the lives of families, they will be looking for ways in which to use their talents for charity purposes with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and Dress for Success. Within the next six to 12 months, they will open a retail space in downtown Fortville on Main Street, but for now, The Gypsy Chicks travel to you to fulfill your order.
