Are you ready for a makeover? Texture Salon has been providing makeovers for local residents for over six years, but is now ready for a transformation of its own. Texture Salon, located to the left of the Lincoln Square Pancake House on Oaklandon (behind PNC Bank) is under new ownership which means exciting changes not just for the salon but for its guests as well.
“Our goal is to provide a high-end, upscale salon that Geist deserves,” says co-owner, Jeff Hartzell. “There is no reason why people should have to go to Broad Ripple to get what they want. In the short term, our aim is to do a facelift with cosmetic changes, while in the long term, it is to bring in special services like massage therapy.”
Co-owner, Kiley Holman adds, “We envision a chic, laid-back salon where guests feel pampered, yet comfortable. Texture Salon will be a place you can relax, have a glass of wine, shop in the new “boutique zone” and leave with renewed style and energy.”
The salon makeover will focus on enhancing every aspect of the guest experience by incorporating innovative hair trends, a client liaison team, and expanding the salon’s spa and cosmetic services. Also, you can expect great changes to the interior décor of the salon as well.

• A full service nail technician (acrylics, manicures and amazing pedicures)
• Aesthetic services (facials, chemical peels, eyelash extensions and more.)

Meet the Makeover Team: Jeff Hartzell and Kiley Holman
Jeff is a true Indianapolis native. He grew up in a family of entrepreneurs; his parents and two brothers, all operating local businesses in the area. He graduated from Lawrence Central High School and later attended Manchester College, where he played baseball, and earned his business degree. Jeff has an MBA from Butler University. He serves as the CFO not only for Texture Salon but for a couple other business ventures as well.
Whereas Jeff manages the finances, Kiley oversees the stylish side of the business. After growing up in Arizona, where she earned a Marketing degree from Arizona State University, she says she “traded in western sunny skies for Indianapolis.” While in college, Kiley’s goal was to open a salon and manage the business side of things. Yet, her creative nature led her to obtaining her cosmetology license and a position as a stylist at Texture Salon. As co-owner of the salon, she says she “now has the best of both the stylish and business sides of this exciting industry.”
