All elementary schools in Lawrence Township will participate in a unique professional development opportunity during the week of Nov. 12th.
Lawrence Township schools realize that they must function differently to fully engage students in ensuring academic success. A part of this instructional shift involves use of the project approach in classrooms. This approach engages students in the learning process and educational research supports inquiry process as the best way to provide authentic real-world instruction.
Sylvia Chard is an author, international researcher and educator who will consult with Lawrence Township elementary schools during the entire week of November 12th in various formats and venues.
